2004- Remote off-site monitoring was established and was the first fully functional Off-site monitoring facility in south Africa – ROM was started as they noticed just having CCTV system was no longer effective enough

They first tried DVIP as a system that was unsuccessful they then tried viconet yet another unsuccessful trial they then came across HIETEL which was the most stable and effective in the analogue space

2002 – Installation alone was no longer good enough so they then started incorporating maintenance contracts to keep the CCTV systems up to date and in working condition
